Great house! Great location! Great communication! Beautiful house with a lot of character. Plenty of room and space for 7 of us to easily get ready for a wedding. Everyone slept comfortably. Highly recommended.

Jake was amazing! He was always responsive and even allowed us to check in early to accommodate our schedule, which we truly appreciated. The home looked exactly like the photos — clean, spacious, and just as described. Although we ran into a slight issue during our stay, he handled it with grace and responded immediately, which made all the difference. The home comfortably fit everyone, and we loved that we were each able to have our own beds. I would absolutely love to stay there again and highly recommend booking with Jake! ⭐️

the house we stayed at on Enerson street was beautiful and extremely affordable for the amount of guests that it is able to maintain. The home was spotless, and the cleaning staff were very kind that we passed during check in / check out. Jake was very responsive, kind and accommodating. I will definitely be returning to one of his locations in the future.

This was one of the pricier options for our group of 10 coming into town for our family member’s Pitt graduation but the location and the size of the house convinced us to go for it. We did not regret our decision! Jake was very responsive to all our messages. We came in during a storm and were concerned about the steps to the garage for our two elders the next morning. I wrote to Jake. By the time we were up, he had the steps cleared! Everyone in my party was impressed! Jake also let us check in an hour early to decorate for our graduate. Free of charge! Again, very pleased! We also loved the bedrooms, the teens and the 7yr old enjoyed the attic and the foosball table. The rooms can get cold from the gaps by window units but Jake had electric heaters ready although noone wanted to use them since the blankets and comforters were plenty and cozy. The beds were so comfortable. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was fully equipped if we wanted to. Overall, amazing experience.Highly recommend!

Jake is a wonderful host and very was very responsive to all our needs. We were 11 people visiting the area over Thanksgiving holidays and it was great to have a house that met all our cooking needs especially in terms of space. The home is also near a lot of good restaurants and we preferred walking to them. I highly recommend Jake's place if you are in the Pittsburg area.

Reasonably priced home with so many bedrooms! Huge eat in dining table doubled as a workspace where I could spread out during the day. I've rented in Oakland/Shadyside area a few times now, and the convenience of the property's two car garage is a total standout (if you have a dog, it also makes unloading/ loading the car a breeze without the risk of escape)! I needed to sort a few things with the host Jake, who was incredibly quick to respond, communicative, and clearly committed to giving me a positive experience.

We enjoyed Jake’s property very much! Excellent location!! It’s of space and large comfortable kitchen and living space! Hope to return to one of Jake’s property’s in the future!

Second time I've stayed here since it is a great house in a great location. a short easy walk to loads of great restaurants as well as Target, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods. The large garage is a nice bonus and easily fit my full size F-150 pickup truck and could fit two cars if needed. If it's available next year I'll probably book it again.

Jake and Chris were great to work with and so helpful during our stay in Pittsburgh for my dad’s surgery. I really appreciate how helpful they were.

On the outside, the house is very nice and stunning. The house was big enough to accommodate our large group. Had nice beds and a big kitchen. It is central to some areas for easy shopping and travel, but the actual home itself has very much left to be desired. We stayed in July. The temperature was in the 80’s-90’s. The AC unit for the home did little to cool the building. Oscillating fans were provided, but did very little in fixing the problem. The house got up to 84° inside and only cooled down to below 80° when the temperature outside was below 80°. I would not recommend staying here in the summer. The heat made our stay almost unbearable. Trash was left in the alley from the previous guests and had to be avoided our whole stay. The dishwater seemed faulty and wasn’t mounted in. The cooking pans provided were chipping and peeling, making them unsafe to cook with. The front and back gates were also broken, making it so you could easily slip in.

Jake was an incredible host and the Airbnb itself was exactly what we needed to host a larger group! The location was also so quaint! Our entire trip was seamless from start to finish thanks to his great communication. The fact that his team took care of the cleaning and everything for checkout was just the cherry on top. 10/10 would recommend!

My friends and I had a great time staying here! The house was easy to check in to and parking on the street was also a very simple process. Jake was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. The location was perfect and close to downtown Pittsburgh and Lawrenceville where we had things planned. My only negative is that I felt like the kitchen wasn’t fully stocked with larger pots and pans. Other than that it was great!

This property is in a great neighborhood with a lot of walkable restaurants, cafes and more. There was plenty of room for our larger group and we had a nice stay.

The home met all of our expectations and housed all 8 of our group with a couple beds to spare. The check-in was seamless with the punch code lock, and we didn’t need to do anything when checking out which helped as we all went our separate ways early in the morning. The outdoor space was tidy and nice to have with the good weather, and the 2-car garage was convenient and easy to access for the couple of us that were driving into town. All of our messages were responded to quickly and without issue - thanks Jake.

We had a fantastic time at Jake’s place. It was very clean and had more than enough space for our family. The garage parking was a great bonus too. We did decide to stay another day and Jake was so helpful to find another house just a couple of minutes away for us.

The positives are that the house is large and has lots of room. Having the garage was nice but the door would not close when you left the house. House is next to bus station which was louder than we thought it might be. House needs some updates, and the kitchen could have had more pan options for cooking.

This is the second time I’ve booked with Jake and both homes have been wonderful. We have a big group coming back for a college reunion, so the size of the space is perfect. Everything was put together nicely & we had enough towels, comfy beds, and it suited all of our needs well. Would recommend booking this home anytime!

We had a wonderful stay at Jake’s property over MLK weekend for a friends' reunion. Jake was extremely responsive. There were 12 of us, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. A couple of notes for opportunities to make an already great experience even better: Since we visited in the dead of winter, the heat in the house worked wonderfully! However, having a small bag of salt available for icy conditions could be helpful for winter months. The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of glasses, plates, and silverware, which we appreciated. However, when cooking for a larger group, the provided cookware wasn’t sufficient. Adding a couple of larger pots (10” or 12”) and a nicer set of cookware would make cooking easier. Consider adding Items like aluminum foil/parchment paper. While the house shows minor signs of wear, it was clean and well-prepared for our arrival, which was what mattered most to us. Overall, we had a lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time together in the

We stayed here for 4 nights over Thanksgiving, and it was perfect for our extended family group. After I originally booked, several more family members decided to come and the house had room for everyone. It was just as pictured. The large dining table was a great gathering spot. I especially liked the walkability to restaurants and stores. We could leave the car in the garage and not have to worry about where to park. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and Jake was always quick to respond. He even sent over a hand mixer for us to use. And when the cousin who was hosting Thanksgiving in Pittsburgh got COVID at the last minute, he let us host dinner here. The open layout of the first floor was perfect! I highly recommend Jake's place and would book it again next time our family visits Pittsburgh

Excellent location for our large family when we needed to be in Pittsburgh. Very safe neighborhood and lots of beds. Fun house for our kids to explore. Jake was extremely communicative and excellent to work with.

Nice house... great location. Close to many restaurants. Clean house, however, some of the bath towels, though folded had stains on them. Needed more toilet paper. However, Jake made sure to deliver more toilet paper the same day. Light fixture in stairwell to third floor not lit but we got by without it. Jake kindly said he would reimburse us with $30. Very thoughtful & always responded quickly to our needs.

This was a very nice house for our stay, and the location — quiet neighborhood, lots of stuff in easy walking distance—was perfect. Jake responded literally within minutes every time we messaged. And while it might seem silly to point this one thing in particular out, every bathroom was stocked with thick, comfortable toilet paper, with multiple backup rolls. I felt like this host was really paying attention, and was concerned about guests’ comfort.

Such a great place! Jake’s place was available last minute and it couldn’t have been a better fit for our group. A few of the lights were out/we couldn’t figure out how to turn them on but this was very minor. The space was minor, and perfect for multiple families with little kids!

Excellent stay near Shadyside. The area was quiet but close to great shopping and restaurants. The house had great space with comfortable bedrooms and lots of fans, which were a nice bonus. The 3rd floor could have been hot but the stand alone AC units worked perfectly. The kitchen was updated and had all the basics. The layout is a typical Pittsburgh row house with steep, narrow stairwells. Just something to keep to in mind if mobility is an issue. Jake was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

We booked this home for a trip with a large group, and it was exactly what we needed. The location in the middle of Shadyside is perfect, and is walkable to many restaurants and even a Target. There are not many homes on Airbnb that can accommodate large groups, but Jake's home was very comfortable for us. Plenty of hot water, parking for two cars in the garage, and ample overnight street parking for free. If you're not from Pittsburgh, this is one of the best parts of the city to stay in.

A group of friends and I rented out this house for a reunion trip back to Pittsburgh and we had a wonderful time! Jake was extremely responsive and helpful and the house was as-pictured. It's a little dark on the inside because of the style (tall ceilings, longer front to back and between buildings) but it was clean, spacious, and well-decorated with a great communal hang out area. It was easy to park on the street and it was nice to be able to use the garage. The house is on a quiet residential street but in easy walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and coffee shops (and exercise options like yoga or orange theory) in Shadyside. We would definitely recommend this house and host.

This house was great. Very spacious and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. The garage was great for parking and not having to deal with street parking. The neighborhood was very quaint. The owner was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely recommend this property.

We had a really great time at Jake's Airbnb and hope to return again! We were visiting with my siblings and their families a few days before a family reunion. There was plenty of space for us to all sleep well and the big kitchen and gathering spaces (indoors and outdoors) allowed us ease and comfort while making meals and hanging out. We especially appreciated the basement during a tornado warning one evening (complete with access doors to the outside!). Everything was OK but we were very grateful to have a safe place to go to when we got the tornado warning. :)

Had a great stay here for three nights on a work trip. The house was huge for myself and a coworker. He took the third floor and I took the second and we shared the first floor with the kitchen etc. For the two of us it was much cheaper than the hotel I normally stay at and the amenities here compared to a hotel are obviously without comparison. The two car garage was a super nice feature where we could park our work truck off the street and not have toi be too concerned about leaving tools in the truck overnight. For supplies there's a Target and Trader Joes a short walk away as well as numerous restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

We were looking for a place that could accommodate three generations of our family under one roof for a family reunion, and Jake's place met all of our needs. Plenty of room for everyone, big kitchen / dining room / grill / outdoor eating area for easy cooking and cleanup, and little porches where we could hang out together. A lovely older home with high ceilings and elegant features, in walking distance of a cute area with cafes and shops as well as another (even closer) area with Trader Joe's, CVS, Target. Jake was very responsive to all questions and concerns, and we were able to focus on being together. Thanks for a great stay!

This home had a ton of potential. I was disappointed in the overall experience. The porch light was not working so hard to see as we arrived at night and as we tried to welcome our guests. As a property manager and airbnb superhost, I realize the importance or cleanliness. The home just was not sufficiently clean. The kitchen was very dirty and the dishwasher was not working and when we attempted to use it, it fell out of the counter. I am not sure how the dishes were washed from the previous guest, so we did not use the kitchen at all. The bathroom shower liners smelled, and the master bathroom blinds were broken. We had to put a sheet over the window. This house simply needs more attention has great potential but my family was not please with its cleanliness. The host was responsive for sure so that was good but my guess is he hasn't been to this house in a while.

Very conveniently located! Close to parks, restaurants, bars & the bus station. Kitchen had all we needed with space for all of our group (9) to eat together. Two nice outside sitting areas. Jake is a very helpful and responsive host! The home is great! It is in walking distance to so many places. We had room for all of us during our tournament weekend and were able to relax. Unlike most airbnb homes, Jake’s had everything we needed and some. It is so nice to not have to haul hand soaps, paper towels, clorox wipes, plenty of towels, toilet paper. Convenient location in east liberty. Lots of space in this three-story home. We had kids sleeping upstairs and grown ups staying up late downstairs with no problems at all. Linens, sheets, bathrooms, and kitchen were all impeccably clean.

I stayed in one of Jake's homes in the past, and this time was no different. The home was nicely decorated, very clean, and looked exactly like the photos. I felt safe and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. Jake is responsive and tries to accommodate you anyway he can. I would most definitely stay there again!

This was a great home base on our trip to Pittsburgh. The house was very clean and very comfortable- the sound machines in every room was a nice touch! The neighborhood was walkable, with lots of restaurants and shops, some around the corner and more 5-15 minutes away. The roomy garage was nice, too. Easy to get downtown and to all the sights. Jake was responsive and everything was easy to find and well thought out.

Jake is the perfect host with a beautiful home. Housekeeping issues were immediately addressed and he sent cookies to make up for those concerns! He repeatedly followed up throughout our stay to ensure our comfort. I would recommend for large families and groups for easy downtown access to sporting events. Great location for cafes, restaurants, church activities, shopping in Shady Side and Squirrel Hill or for small items at the localTarget. Garage space available, which to the area is ideal! I would suggest weatherizing the place. There were drafts in the back bedroom and upstairs. Summer it may not be an issue but in February it was noticeable, but not a deterrent. Thank you Jake for taking care of our family during a difficult time. We were able to easily accommodate our 8 person group and could have had a few more

The house was huge! More than enough room for our extended family gathering. A large dining table and a good sized kitchen helped us prepare meals and eat together. We had a wonderful stay at Jake's place over the weekend. The house was clean and had plenty of sleeping arrangements (more than we even needed but we'll keep it in mind for a larger group next time!). The house was organized & clean, the location had a lot of restaurants and good walking/running space, and easy check in, checkout. We even had to check out later and despite Jake’s tight schedule, he was able to be flexible with us and did not chart for it. Excellent spot and host!

Great house, and it’s huge! Bedding was extremely comfortable and CLEAN. Enough toiletries for an army. Super close to grocery stores and many great restaurants, coffee shops and breweries within walking distance. Communication with host was fast and he was extremely kind. We stayed at this home specifically because it was close to Children’s hospital, a straight shot! I will 100% stay here next time we are in Pittsburgh.

Great location and lots of space in the house to spread out. Walkable to few restaurants and speakeasy’s. Lorelei is great for food and cocktails. Commerce bar is a great speakeasy (go online to put yourself on a virtual waitlist). A few things about the place: we had two families staying at the house. Plenty of privacy. Some expected creaking floors. We had a 4 yo and 2 yo staying with us. And a small dog staying. Friends brought one baby gate which was very helpful for the stairs. The place comes with a pack n play in the closet. Comfortable beds and sheets/comforters. I wish the towels were more luxurious. They were cheap small towels.

This place is perfect for a large group and is as pictured. Jake was very responsive to any questions we had. The off street parking was great but those of us in the group who had to park on the street had no problem!

Jake is a very helpful and welcoming host. The house is close to coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. It was perfect for our large family attending a wedding in Pittsburgh.

Jake’s was very spacious and in a nice location. It was nicely maintained and comfortable. Loved the option for off street parking. We really liked the comfortable beds and the second story balcony. The kitchen was very nice and the air conditioning worked really well.

We had a wonderful stay at Jake's place. The location is perfect, close to everything on the east end. We were able to walk to many great restaurants, the grocery store, Target, and much more. Having access to a garage was an amazing treat as we loved not having to figure out parking for our big minivan. The house itself worked great for our family of 5 and small dog. The bedrooms were spacious and had the most comfortable mattresses! We ate breakfast on the back patio every morning and snuggled on the oversize sofa to watch movies. We visit Pittsburgh a lot and this was definitely one of the best stays we've had. We will definitely plan to book it again!

Amazing place and host!

Jake and Chris were very friendly and quick to respond. The house is perfect. My daughter called it a dream home. Three stories with great architectural details - curved nooks, brick inside walls, cool details. Kitchen was modern and easy to use. The front porch and back patio were wonderful! We spent tons of time talking and chatting there. So easy to walk to restaurants ice cream store and. Coffee shop. Very good trip for our family

The home was nicely remodeled while maintaining the original charming character. Loved the outdoor spaces. Rooms were spacious. Beds were comfortable. Decor was very tasteful and elegant. Location was great. Walkable to stores and restaurants. Very safe neighborhood. Definitely would stay here again.

The pink glitter house was great, my granddaughter loved it! Easy access to everything we wanted to do. The kitchen and dinning room were roomy and had everything we needed. Jake provided extra towels, soap and shampoo. Pittsburgh has great community parks for kids, one was walkable. Jake was great too. He responded immediately when we needed a gas tank for the gas grill. We realized parking is a problem in Pittsburgh so we appreciated the two car garage and convenient extra parking in the back of the house.

Huge awesome place on a gorgeous quiet block in a great neighborhood. Very convenient and easy check in, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Great garage parking easily fits 2 cars. Recommended to my friends before I left

This place is in an excellent location and has lots of space for families. Comfortable rooms, outdoor spaces, and even a garage! Would stay again.

Unbelievable value for this place! The furnishings were all super comfortable and our group of 10 slept great with plenty of space. You could easily sleep and fit several more people too. There is so much space in the home and none of us wanted to leave. Incredible how clean the home was too despite how big it is. The parking out back is very convenient and we loved the patio furnishings too. Thanks Jake!

Our family absolutely loved this beautiful home! A ton of space for our whole family. This house is full of character and excellent amenities. The beds and couch were super comfy. Great kitchen. My husband was especially excited about the off street parking. We enjoyed walking to nearby shops and restaurants and strolling through the neighborhood. Jake was very helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was amazing! Clean, well-decorated, and plenty of space to host our family gathering. It’s on a quiet street but within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!
