This listing gives you full access to two private 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom apartments in the same building! Both apartments are listed as individual listing, but you can book both here to accommodate your larger groups! This building is perfectly located in the heart of the Friendship neighborhood which is super close to downtown, Shadyside and all major neighborhoods here in Pittsburgh!

First apartment ("Apt 1A")!:
When you arrive to the building, you will head up to the front porch of the building where you have your own private entrance on the right. Access the apartment using the smart lock on the front door and walk into the first of two private apartments!
The Living Room:
The living room is a perfect place for hanging out and bonding with friends/ family. Centered in the living room is a cozy couch that pulls out into a full-sized sofa bed. There is also a 50" TCL Roku smart TV in the living room where you can log into all of your favorite subscriptions to watch TV during your stay!
The Kitchen:
To the left of the front door is a hallway to get to the full kitchen. Fully stocked for all cooking/ dining needs with all appliances (Fridge, dishwasher, stove and microwave), and a 4 seater dining table. All cooking needs are provided (cooking utensils, pots/ pans, etc) as well as all dining needs (plates, cups, bowls, coffee mugs).
Bathroom:
The bathroom is fully stocked and equipped for you with essentials provided (Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, toilet paper, hand towels/ bath towels, etc). Topped off with a luxurious waterfall shower head!
Bedroom 1:
Just past the living room is a large, bright and clean bedroom stocked with a king sized bed. The mattress is a Puffy Royal mattress and is SUPER comfy! There is also a desk for all business needs during your stay to the right of the bed, and a 3-drawer dresser in the bedroom with a 32" TCL Roku TV for you to unwind before bed.
Bedroom 2:
Across the hall way is a second bedroom, also stocked with a king sized Puffy Royal mattress that is super comfy! There is also a 3 drawer dresser and closet space for you in this bedroom.
Both bedrooms have usb outlets for your phone charging, white noise machines to help you get a great nights sleep, and all linens/ pillows provided!
Now, for the second apartment ("Apt 1B")!:
When you arrive to the building, you will walk to the right side of the building where you will find a private entrance. Enter the apartment using our smart lock for self check-in and enter into the beautiful and spacious living room!
Living Room:
Similar to the first apartment, once you enter you will walk into the living room area. There is a comfy sofa that pulls out into a queen sized sofa bed at the center of the living room with a 43" TCL Roku TV mounted as well for unwinding. To the left of the couch is a four seater dining table right next to the kitchen!
The Kitchen:
Just like the first apartment, this kitchen is fully stocked and equipped so feel free to cook and dine in either apartment!
Bedroom 1:
Walk past the living room and you will find both bedrooms. The first bedroom on the right has a queen bed with a Puffy Royal Mattress (SUPER comfy!!). There is also a 4 drawer dresser with a 32" TCL Roku TV for you to unwind before bed, along with a small closet.
Bedroom 2:
The second bedroom is right next to this one and is also stocked with a comfy Puffy Royal Mattress for a great nights sleep. There is also a small desk for any business needs during your stay if you need next to the bed!
Bathroom:
The full bathroom in this apartment is located in between the two bedrooms and is also fully stocked and equipped with all essentials!
Important to note!
STEPS:
There are no steps for Apt 1B and this apartment is fully ADA accessible. However, for APT 1A, you will need to enter up one flight of steps to reach the apartment.
A/C/ Heating:
- There is central Heating available and is controlled by the thermostat in the living room. There is also a window AC unit in the living room, and ceiling fans in the living room and both bedrooms.
Parking
- Instructions for registering your car for street parking will be sent to you prior to check-in and is free of charge.
- There is also an off-street parking spot available for an extra $10/ night, or $25/ week.
You will have full access to both 2 bedroom apartments in the building! Each apartment has it's own private entrance and they are on top of each other in the building.
I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. I am only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in using the electronic key lock upon arrival.
Please note: It is important to keep all communication through the Airbnb platform. We offer 24/7 guest communications services through the airbnb platform. If you ever need me, don't hesitate to call or text, but know that response times may be delayed if not using the airbnb platform!
You'll be staying in a quiet neighborhood close to all the action in the city! Bloomfield is a historic part of town commonly known as "Little Italy" because it was settled by italians and has a been a center of italian-American population.
Bloomfield is such a convenient neighborhood because of how quickly you can access all parts of town.
The airport is roughly a 30 minute drive from the apartment, without traffic, and is about a $40 uber ride, without surge pricing.
I highly recommend using ride-sharing services, such as uber or lyft, as you will be in a centralized part of town with plenty of drivers closeby!
Biking:
- Rent bikes for as cheap as $2 per 30 minutes at any Healthy E-Ride bike station around town! Great way to explore the city!
SPIN Scooters
- There are e-scooters new to Pittsburgh that you can use and find using the app!
Public transport:
Easy bus lines to the heart of Downtown and the Airport - 28X Airport Flyer stops nearby.

June 2025 4.00We were in town for the PGA event and stayed here all week. We had 6 adults and 2 toddlers and felt like we had enough space. The home is an older Pittsburgh home with character; the photos are a bit brighter/newer in appearance than the home was in-person but that didn’t bother us. The beds were comfy and there were a lot of amenities (towels, dishes, laundry access, etc.) that were helpful. We did pay extra for the two parking spots in the back (not sure why this isn’t included and costs extra, especially since there was roadwork preventing street parking during our stay). We loved the park at the school across the street and used it daily for our toddlers to get some outdoor time and energy out! There’s plenty of places to walk for food within ~1 mile: Whole Foods, Shadyside restaurants, etc. and there’s a bus stop right out the door we took the bus downtown for a Pirates game no problem! The 1A apartment could use 2 blackout curtains per window (there was only 1) but we managed.

May 2025 4.00Comfortable apartments and lovely neighborhood. Apartment 1B looks like it has been remodeled more recently and is accessible at street level. Apartment 1A you need to go up steps and it did smell of cigarettes. There were some residents who smoke on the front porch and it seems to seep in the front door. IB does not have that problem.

May 2024 5.00This was the perfect place for us to stay for our daughter's commencement weekend. The grandparents really appreciated the accessible 1st floor apartment! It was great for all of us to be able to stay together and visit with family.

April 2024 2.00As a consumer you rely on accurate pictures and description. Jake’s place needs a considerable amount of updating. The pictures were not accurate, the unit was rundown and we had ants. The descriptions should have noted the condition of the steps leading to the unit as they could be dangerous for young children or older adults. We were very disappointed that you are not able to use the front porch; the description did not mention that “The porch is not part of the airbnb” Although Jake was responsive with all of the concerns, he did to follow through with promised repairs to the heat/thermostat or issue with ants. I will say the beds were extremely comfortable. Airbnb was excellent to work through a resolution.

November 2023 4.00We were in the city to gather together after suffering a devastating loss of my husband father to my children. Jake was compassionate and very responsive. We had two apartments. One of the apartments was nicer than the other but they were both in good repair, clean and plenty of room.

October 2023 5.00Really comfortable stay! I booked the two units to bring a group for a workshop at CMU. Everyone slept well and there was a well enough stocked kitchen to cook some of our dinners. I brought my dog, and the neighborhood is friendly for walks.
Even the house looks old from outside. It is well upgraded and maintained inside with all required furniture and kitchen equipment. Very clean house
