This freshly renovated 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom apartment is conveniently located right next to Friendship Park and is within walking distance of plenty of restaurants, shops, bars, grocery stores and more! West Penn hospital is right across the street and Children's hospital is less than a 10 minute walk as well. This apartment is fully stocked and equipped for long stays if needed, so this is perfect for anyone looking for a place to crash for the night, a week long stay, or even monthly stays. There is also central air conditioning and heating, so you will be extremely comfortable regardless of the time of year. This apartment is on the first floor of the building with a private entrance off the street which is extremely convenient. There is a smart lock on the front door allowing for a private and secluded apartment for you during your stay.
The Living Room:
When you first walk in the door, you will walk into a modern, renovated and open living room/ kitchen area. In the living room, there is a comfortable 3-seater couch that pulls out into a queen sized bed, an armchair for additional seating, a 50" TCL Roku Smart TV, and plenty of decor to make you feel at home. There is also an Alexa Echo device set up for your use with plenty of games! This space leads you into the kitchen which is fully stocked with all essentials and equipped with brand new stainless steel appliances. Just off the kitchen is a spacious 4 seater dining table. The kitchen is loaded with everything you'll need to cook or eat during your stay (Pots/ pans, silverware, eating utensils, etc.). In the kitchen there is also a coffee maker with decaf/ regular coffee, along with cream and sugar, for all coffee lovers and an electric kettle for anyone looking to make some tea during their stay.
Bedrooms (TWO):
When you walk past the kitchen area, you will find both bedrooms. These cozy bedrooms both have a queen bed with an ultra comfortable mattress by Puffy, which are designed to accommodate any type of sleeper. Whether you are a stomach, side or back sleeper, you'll get a great nights sleep! Both bedrooms also have a dresser along with plenty of closet space. Fresh linens and bedding is provided for all guests.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is sparkling clean and freshly renovated like the rest of the apartment and is topped off with a luxurious waterfall shower head. Fresh towels (Body, hand, and makeup towels) will be provided for you during your stay. There is also a hair dryer that guests are free to use during their stay.
This apartment has plenty of space and is set up to accommodate groups, couples, or solo travelers! This is a perfect apartment for you to experience the best of Pittsburgh..
Guests will have full access to the entire 2 BR apartment.
If you would like to, there is a coin-operated washer/ dryer in the building that is shared by the other tenants. If available you are more than welcome to use that.
I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. I am only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self check-in using the electronic key lock upon arrival.

Friendship is a super convenient neighborhood to get around town quickly. It is centrally located allowing for quick access to all of the major neighborhoods and attractions the city of Pittsburgh has to offer. This apartment is a 5 minute drive to Shadyside and Lawrenceville (Two other very popular neighborhoods in Pittsburgh), and a ten minute drive to Downtown, North shore, Squirrel Hill, and Southside which have plenty of other attractions and fun places to visit.
There are also plenty of nearby universities, including Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) (5 minute drive), University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) (10 minute drive), Duquesne University (10 minute drive), Chatham University (5 minute drive), and more!
There are also numerous hospitals close by. West Penn hospital is right across the street from this apartment (1 minute walk), Children's hospital is a 7 minute walk, and UPMC Shadyside, UPMC Mercy, and UPMC Presby are all within a 10 minute drive of this apartment.
The airport is roughly 30 minutes from the apartment, by car and without traffic. The cost to uber is usually about a $38 each way, without surge pricing.
I highly recommend using ride-sharing services, like Uber or Lyft as you are in a hot part of town and will never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride.
Biking:
- Rent bikes for as cheap as $2 per 30 minutes at any Healthy E-Ride bike station around town! There is an easy bike path to get you downtown in less than 30 minutes and you can get to several nearby parks by bike as well. Great way to explore the city!
Public transport:
Easy bus lines to the heart of Downtown and the Airport - 28X Airport Flyer stops nearby. Every bus line that you will need is right out front of the apartment.
PARKING:
- Street parking is available for you during your stay at no additional cost. You will receive instructions on how to register your parking permit before check-in.
PETS:
- This apartment is pet friendly, but you must request permission in advance. The fees may vary based on length of stay, but they are no more than $50 per dog per stay, and $30 per cat per stay. Make sure to ask when booking :)
STEPS:
- This is a ground floor apartment, but you will have to climb 3 steps to get in/ out of the apartment.
SMART LOCK:
- There is a smart lock at the front entrance of the apartment, allowing you to come and go as you please without worrying about keys. A code will be automatically generated for you when you book and will be sent to you in the check-in instructions.
LAUNDRY:
- There will be a coin-operated washer/ dryer in the building that you may use and is shared by other apartments in the building. Refer to the guidebook for instructions on how to access the washer/ dryer.
