Overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline from across the Allegheny River, this state-of-the-art ballpark is the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. See the Pirates play between April and early October and take a seat behind home plate to take in the commanding views of the city. Grab a few hot dogs or pick between other delicious snacks from the concessions. Before you leave, don’t skip a visit to the gift shop. PNC Park can be reached from the city center easily via the subway. You can also visit other Pittsburgh landmarks like the Andy Warhol Museum afterward.

Duquesne Incline

Duquesne Incline

Scale Mount Washington in a 19th century cable car for a fun ride with breathtaking views. The ride is a 400-foot incline and brings you breathtaking views of the Pittsburgh skyline and the city’s three rivers. When uphill, visit the museum to learn more about Pittsburgh history as well as inclines from all over the world. A few restaurants overhanging the mountain are a stone’s throw away, and so is the stunning Grandview Overlook. The Duquesne Incline is cash-only so be prepared. Paid parking is available across the street from the Duquesne incline’s lower station
