Jake's place was perfect. I will seek out is locations in the Pgh. area the next time I visit for sure. It was great to have a dedicated parking space. It was very convenient to walk to Wholefoods. I really liked the locking automatic locking system on the front door. I felt very safe. All of the appliances were modern, great wifi, and access to streaming. Jake is a Super Host for sure!

This is a wonderful apartment for the price point, safety of the neighborhood, and parking availability! It was incredibly peaceful and quiet throughout our stay. There’s a designated parking space which lessened my parking anxiety. The apartment is furnished beautifully and looks just like the pictures. My only grievance is the smell of mildew in the bathroom, I assume coming from the facets in the sink and bathtub. The apartment is spotless and very clean aside from that.

Booked last minute and I'm so glad I did! The unit is actually bigger/better in person and felt very homey and safe. It's conveniently located by a park which was great for my dogs and by Whole Foods too, as well as nice neighborhoods to stroll through. The bed was very comfortable, the thermostat adjusted quickly, and I had everything I needed to cook a meal in the kitchen. I would definitely stay here again!

I needed a place for one night and really didn't want to stay in a hotel. This location and listing was perfect. I felt safe. The dedicated parking spot was a bonus. The unit was very clean and super spacious. Jake was quick with detailed responses. He even included photos so there was no question about where to park or which unit to enter. And I had the best night of sleep in a week. Will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Jake’s place was wonderful. It was spacious, immaculate, tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect location for us to do some of the downtown sightseeing activities from the many that Pittsburgh has to offer. The neighborhood was quiet and very nice to walk our pup in. We had a few questions and Jake got right back to us. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely return.

Jake's place was the perfect work-week getaway! It was beautiful, spacious but cozy, and clean. It had all the things I needed to cook for the week, and Whole Foods is right across the street which came in clutch! I worked remotely and the monitor was SO helpful. The bed was comfortable too. Parking was super easy - the space across the street was very easy to find, and Jake gave helpful instructions all around! Would definitely stay again and would absolutely recommend!

Jake’s place was a great place to call home base for the weekend. It was easily walkable to a lot of restaurants/coffeeshops/stores. The interior was sleek and felt large for a 1 bed apartment space. Being dog friendly was a huge plus and there’s a park right out front the complex that made waking our dogs very easy. The small patio is shared with one other unit as well as the main door opens to a small common space before the apartment’s actual entry. Would gladly book this space again for a trip to explore Pittsburgh.

Jake’s place was one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in… In the nation. Everything from the architecture to the amenities and decorations of the unit was stellar. Jake was also quite kind and accommodating to me as I had a last-minute need that cropped up toward the end of our stay. I would definitely return to Jake’s properties this one, or any other one he may own. My day was absolutely excellent and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the Pittsburgh area.

We had a last minute request to stay at Jake's place. He was super quick to respond and very helpful. The place was very clean and uncluttered. The location was somewhat busy, but also at the end of a pretty tree-lined street and within walking distance to Whole Foods. Entry instructions were very clear and simple and what was really key for us is it had a designated parking space! We would certainly stay there again!

This is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in!! I was so impressed by Jake’s space, and I’d highly recommend it to others. While I was only there for one night, I can see this being a perfect place to book if you’re spending a while in Pittsburgh, or if you’re working on the road. The photos honestly don’t do it justice- it’s gorgeous, pristinely maintained, so easy to find, and very quiet at night !

Apartment was modern and spacious, great for our family and two dogs. Beautifully decorated and furnished tastefully. Loved the kitchen with new appliances. The king bed was super comfy. Fast Wifi with work desk great for remote working. Having a park right across the street, along with a dedicated parking spot right there was a big plus. Great location, walking distance to stores and restaurants. Close to colleges and downtown. Jake was very kind, helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. He was a tremendous host. We highly recommend this place to future guests.

I had a really nice stay. I was in search of rest, relaxation, and peace of mind and I was able to find that, in the middle of the city, at Jake’s place. Jake and staff were extremely attentive, kind, and mindful of my privacy. There was one issue with the laundry and Jake responded immediately and effectively so that the issue was resolved and my time alone was respected. The apartment is very nice. It is clean, tidy and modern with no clutter. There is a spacious living room with an open kitchen concept. I had everything I needed, including a water kettle and other staples. The apartment was perfect for the serenity I was seeking and, since it is in the middle of the city, Whole Foods and other places to pick up food, liquor, hit the ATM, etc., are very close by; in fact, across the street for most of it. I would definitely stay again.

Jake’s place was better than the photos. Very spacious living area and beautiful kitchen with island. Comfortable bed, efficient HVAC. Everything seemed new. Designated off street parking was very nice to have. Suited my needs perfectly and exceeded my expectations.

Jake's appartment was wonderful. Very nice furnishings. Jake was very responsive. I needed to extend my stay and he did not hesitate to help me out. Even when I was 40 minutes late checking out he was very gracious and understanding. I would definitely stay at another of Jake's properties in the future.

This is our 4th time staying at one of Jake’s properties. They are always pristine and beautiful. Jake is an excellent host and is always responsive and super friendly. His properties have become our home away from home when visiting our daughter at college in Pittsburgh! This property is in a great complex set in an awesome neighborhood! There are great restaurants and shops within walking distance. Easy parking as well.

Had a good stay here while I was doing a 4-week rotation at Children's Hospital. Walking distance to Whole Foods & a lot of great coffee places and restaurants. Street parking is usually always available in addition to 1 spot provided with the apartment. Make sure to bring your own Keurig or single-serve coffee appliance (There's only a coffee pot here) and can-opener if you plan on living here for a while and cooking. Otherwise has most things you need kitchen-wise and a fairly comfy bed. Noise machine in the bedroom is a nice touch, and loved the washer and dryer (with detergent & dryer sheets provided!)

We really enjoyed our stay at Jake’s property. It was very clean, felt very safe, and we did not hear any noise from neighbors. He is very friendly and responsive. Definitely would stay at one of his properties again in the future!

Awesome place to stay! It was very clean, safe, and comfortable. One of the best locations in PGH—within walking distance to Whole Foods and just a short drive to Trader Joe's, Target, and numerous restaurants and cafes. The host was great and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again!

While I’m sure others have had a better experience, I was less than satisfied with Jake’s place. Immediately upon entering the apartment, my dog b-lined for under the bed where he found a pile of what appeared to be dried up dog vomit and food. Pretty gross and I had no choice but to clean it up so my dog wasn’t exposed to a biohazard. Then I checked the bed sheets, which had lots of black hairs, errant stains, and mystery clumps strewn about it. And there were hairs on the cutting board on the kitchen counter. Jake’s team was responsive and understanding when I requested a full refund for my stay, but I never should have been in that situation. Otherwise the apartment felt safe, quiet, and modern. Check in was easy and Jake was communicative. I wish him luck in finding a better cleaner for future guests.

Jake’s place was great! Super convenient to Whole Foods. I stayed here long term for 6 weeks after selling my house in Pittsburgh before moving to LA and it was the perfect landing place before my move. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!!

Fantastic East Liberty property is well appointed and convenient to shops, restaurants, and city attractions. Having a Whole Foods one block away made shopping and meals very convenient. The apartment has great amenities - I really appreciated the Washer/Dryer, strong WiFi, parking across the street, and the filtered water pitcher. Jake was consistently responsive and courteous. This is where you want to stay to enjoy your time in Pittsburgh. Highly recommended; I will certainly return.

My son and his friend needed a place to stay after attending a Pittsburgh Steelers game and Jake was kind enough to let them stay for the night. The place was beautiful and very well kept!! Jake's place was perfect for my trip to Pittsburgh. The location is great and walkable to a lot of stores and restaurants, didn't move my car all week. Had a nice working desk and comfortable furniture. Jake was very responsive to my questions and proactive in sending the check-in details ahead of time.

I am originally from Pittsburgh, and the place was modern and on a new street. My sister and I will continue to book here whenever we are in town. Everything was truly perfect. The place was clean and quiet and the host responded quickly and politely anytime we had a question. Check in was easy and efficient and the pictures for directions were easy to follow and accurate. Absolutely, no complaints!

They are clean, modern, and provide extra amenities. The kitchen was stocked with ample cook ware and supplies such as oil, salt, can opener, cheese grater, etc. There was cold water in the fridge as well as complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom was stocked with more than enough toilet paper. He even provided a soft wash cloth for make up. The check in process was very easy as well. I highly recommend. I really liked this place. It’s in a complex of a few apartments but I never had noise issues. There’s a Whole Foods literally around the corner and great restaurants a short walk away.

Our family of 3 had a quick but wonderful stay at Jake’s place. The king bed was super comfortable and welcome on our road trip. We enjoyed walking to have dinner at Noodle Head and had breakfast delivered from Cafe Moulin which we ate outside in the courtyard. We would 100% stay again as the neighborhood was peaceful, safe and walkable with lots to do.

The Wholefoods nearby is an easy walk, and a PNC is conveniently next door. Having a designated parking space was great and there was available street parking for guests as well. I loved that there was a computer monitor set up. That was a first for any Airbnb that I have stayed in. It came in handy when I needed to hop on a team's meeting. Great idea! This was our second stay at one of Jake’s places and it did not disappoint! It looked exactly like the photos, was well stocked and very clean. Dealing with Jake is a pleasure. Big spacious living room & kitchen (my son practically ran around the minute he saw the big space), and big bedroom too. Mattresses were comfortable, including the sofa bed in the living room.

The apartment is in a quiet location with restaurants within walking distance and Whole Foods a block away. The apartment is luxe with little touches and modern amenities. The bed was also super comfortable. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in Pittsburgh. I will come back next time we are there and would recommend it to a friend.

The apartment complex and apartment were both great. It was near where I needed to be and seemed like a good and upcoming location with the Whole Foods across the way. The apartment was very spacious, clean, simple and tidy. The lock/keypad to get in was the easiest one I've ever experienced which is an A+ when it comes to arriving to an Airbnb. The work area/station was a nice touch as I was able to get some work done. It was also very convenient to have the washer/dryer in the main bedroom. I would definitely stay here again when I come back to Pittsburgh!

If I was home again in Pgh and off the road Jake’s place is exactly what I would look for from location to set to space wise. It was perfect. Extremely comfortable and located next to everything. You don’t need a car staying there because everything is walkable and pleasure being out. Although the reason was sad for me coming into Pgh Jake’s place was a wonderful retreat. He and his team are very quick to help and respond and constantly encouraging you to enjoy your stay. Definitely have this on my favorites list. Thank you Jake!

The apartment was in a good location for access to public transit, shops, restaurants, and Whole Foods. The place was clean, spacious, private, and very quiet. The workstation area is a nice touch and has 200+ Mbps of internet, which is rare to find in AirBnB's. Great for digital nomads like myself. It fit myself, my wife, and my two teenage kids comfortably. The bed was surprising comfortable. I have been using AirBnB for years, and most of the rentals I have been in have horrible beds that have created more back problems for myself. You will enjoy sleeping here. The parking situation was not ideal; it did come with a private space, but someone was already in the space the whole time I was staying in the apartment, forcing me to park on the street. That might be a deal-breaker for you. Still, it was a great rental, and I would consider going back again now that I know the parking situation there.  

The apartment was just as pictured but better. It was designed with attention to detail for sure! The location to Whole Foods was perfect! My Fiancé and I did a nightly walk at dusk or after; people were friendly and the neighborhood was fairly quiet. Jake was responsive as promised. Go ahead and book the apartment. You will not be disappointed.

2nd time stay at one of Jake’s houses and it didn’t disappoint it was amazing.

We travel to Pittsburgh quite a bit, and always get an airbnb (vs hotel) around University of Pittsburgh / Carnegie Mellon area. Jake’s place is the best airbnb in the area that I have stayed in the past 5 years. It is a new building, clean, the appliances are top quality, bathroom is super clean and has great water pressure. The bed and linen are so comfortable. I enjoyed the porch area with the seatings, and assigned parking is a huge plus for me. Whole Foods market is a 5 min walking and the area is so quiet even though it is in the middle of everything. Jake is a great host as well, he is very responsive. I definitely will not hesitate to return. Highly recommended.

We were very excited, when Jake told we were going to be the first guests in this brand new apartment. We were in Pittsburgh just for a weekend (2 nights) and we loved our stay. Apartment is super clean, cozy and comfy. The apartment has two TV's. Amenities and everything were as-mentioned. Jake is very responsive and communication is perfect. Neighborhood was peaceful and quite. No issues with the parking.Infact, parking lot was right across the street, you can see right through the kitchen. We will definitely be back to stay at this beautiful apartment again. This is an 10/10 rated airbnb. Definitely give it a shot if you are in Pittsburgh!
