The stairs are steep and the parking can be a bit sketch. Host took care of parking. I would stay here every time we visit but others have found out about this gem. And they keep booking it. Great kitchen, kitchen aid appliances, pantry, dishwasher etc. The bedrooms are both nice. The smaller one needs a ceiling fan and tv. The primary room is much more upgraded with ceiling fan and lights, huge en-suite. The rooftop area is great. The view is phenomenal. If this place is available, book it!!!

Exactly as described, this spacious, beautifully decorated and well-appointed home/apt is conveniently located in Lawrenceville, close to many restaurants, UPitt & downtown PGH. In town for a wedding, we enjoyed sharing this very nice and comfortable space with our with extended family. Roomy enough to spread out plus a balcony and rooftop terrace. The close commute to downtown area was convenient and exploring the quaint neighborhood by foot was fun.

Highly recommend! The space was very aesthetically pleasing and functional. We didn’t want for anything! The location was top tier! Lawrenceville is so great from walking and dining! We were so lucky to have free off street parking with our stay, it was so key. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay, and in the area. Thank you so much Jake, we will def be back again!!

The property is just as pictured on the site. Jake was very responsive and I had no issues during my stay. The only minor inconvenience was the construction going on outside of the back door but Jake did notify me of this in the guests welcome message. The location was ok as long as you don't have any small children with you, but that's not on the host. I would definitely book here again in the future. Highly recommend.

Jake’s place is beautiful! Just as it looks in the photos. We especially enjoyed morning coffee on the lovely rooftop with views of downtown. The neighborhood is fun. Lots of restaurants and shops. Easy to get to downtown attractions. Would love to stay here again if we’re ever back in Pittsburgh!

The Lawrenceville location was excellent, close to great restaurants, shops, and attractions while still feeling like a relaxing place to come back to at the end of the day. The rooftop terrace was a nice bonus and a great spot to hang out with distant views of the city. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The apartment was even bigger than expected and beautifully decorated. Lots of restaurants nearby and close enough to downtown without sacrificing a more local vibe. The apartment is dog-friendly but one thing to note if your dog is not used to city living: there is not much green space nearby and the street can be noisy at times. Nothing to fault the apartment for, just something to take into consideration.

Wonderful stay! We booked the night before and the whole process went smooth to get our stay confirmed so last minute! Super easy to find and the parking spot was a plus! When we entered the unit the tall ceilings made the space feel so grand! It’s a fantastic apartment for a family or group of friends. Quick drive to the stadiums and downtown. Will be staying again!

This place was extremely nice , easy to get to, nice area we loved that just a few blocks down the street were lots of places to get something to eat , it really felt like we were out of town just without the palm trees lol …I also liked the quick response from the Host! My son turned 18 and although we understood the rules of NO PARTIES my son was still able to say he enjoyed his day and that that was Thee Best Birthday he’s ever had!! Definitely thinking about booking again!!

I’ll start by saying this place is HUGE! It felt like we were staying in our own personal hotel. The apartment was pristine in every way. We had no issues finding the apartment or parking space with helpful instructions from the host. We also enjoyed there was a reserve space for us so we didn’t have to try to find parking nearby. Lawrenceville is one of my favorite parts of Pittsburgh and it feels super safe. We’ll be happy to stay here again next time we’re in Lawrenceville!

Awesome stay

Great accommodations. Really spacious, everything pretty much brand new and well cared for. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was well outfitted (they even had a Ninja blender and olive oil!). Hosts were excellent communicators and made the entire stay easy and seamless. Would stay again.

This one is spectacular. Can not beat the location and accommodations. Pristine bathrooms, beautiful kitchen, comfortable furniture and supreme mattresses/bedding. The balconies are fabulous as well.

At fault of their own, Jake and team handled a mixup with the cleaning services immediately. They sent a manager out within 10 minutes and had the place cleaned right away. They also comped part of the rental as a gesture. Overall, the unit was perfect, great location, and the hosts were awesome.

We had such a wonderful stay at Jake’s place! The place looked exactly like the pictures but even better. So spacious inside! And the couches - just wow on the comfort level! Did not want to move once we had sat down! And the beds were amazing - so very comfortable! What a privilege it was to wake up to such a pretty view from the master bed! Lastly, the rooftop deck - fabulous! All in all, this place has everything one would need to have a truly enjoyable stay! And Jake was so responsive when we had a couple questions upon arrival. We would not hesitate to book his place again in the future!

Jake's place was a perfect getaway right in Lawrenceville! The rooftop terrace was really comfy and had a great view of Butler St. This location is super walkable, and there are tons of places to go.

Our stay was way beyond expectations. The unit was one of just two in a very spacious and vertically tall building and felt very private. Ceilings are very high and the apartment is much larger than pictures could convey. You will get a decent workout during your stay using the stairs which we didn’t mind- four flights in total from entry to the building to the rooftop. The apartment was very clean, luxurious and comfortable the entire stay and you’ll find plenty of restaurants and bars nearby in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again especially for its value and highly recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful house

This was the perfect overnight stay for our family with a 2.5 year old grandchild. The condo was clean, quiet and easy to find. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Jake!!!

Jake was an awesome host! The house was spotless, everything was perfect, and his communication was truly amazing. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend him.

I had to find accommodations, fast, as my pipes froze and eventually burst. My daughter searched the area and found Jake's rental. Jake responded to my reservation within minutes and after exchanging a few messages, he welcomed us to his beautiful rental. I am familiar with the location so I know that the location was safe. Also, the bus stop was steps away from the rental as I work downtown. I reserved the rental for three nights but cancelled after one night as the plumber was able to fix the pipe sooner than anticipated. Jake was so accommodating and understanding with the cancellation. I urge and recommend anyone who needs a short-term rental to definitely reserve this jewel of a place. I'm sure his other properties are just as comfortable and cozy, very home-like. But most importantly, it was Jake. What a wonderful experience my daughter and I, even Aura our puppy, had. Jake is the ultimate professional. I HIGHLY recommend him.

The apartment was super spacious and felt like a hotel. The building has two commercial spaces on the bottom, the upstairs is 2 AirBnb units. It was very private and quiet. It had amazing windows and with great views. We stayed during a huge snow storm and it had absolutely everything we needed while stuck inside of days on end. The kitchen was amazing for all the cooking we did. Would love to come back in spring or summer to take advantage of all the nice bars and restaurants within walking distance. Both bedrooms were large and had great bedding. Was perfect for my husband, one year old, and I but would also be amazing for couples to stay as well. The place was super clean with great upgrades. Nothing felt ‘over used’ or run down. Would absolutely stay again!

This is our third time staying with Jake, including one extended 7-week stay while traveling to Pittsburgh for our son’s medical care. He is an excellent host. He’s always responsive, thoughtful, and proactive. One time he even called late to make sure a car being towed wasn’t ours. The rental is always spotless and incredibly well stocked. Having a washer and dryer (with detergent!) is a lifesaver, and the extra touches like coffee and practical essentials truly make a difference. We love staying at Jake’s places and highly recommend him.

This is my second time coming to Pittsburgh for my coffee shop construction on Forbes Ave. The first time, I stayed in Shadyside and had a great experience with Jake. This time I stayed on the other side of town, and the experience was just as good. The apartment was very spacious and extremely clean. I always enjoy staying at Jake’s places because they’re consistently presentable and well-kept. I definitely recommend staying at his properties!

We had a great stay at Jake's home while visiting Pittsburgh. He provided suggestions for dining options, of which there are many nearby. Some are even easy to walk to. It's not too far from many things to see and do, including our favorite, Phipps Holiday Magic. Instructions, including pictures, were provided and made parking and check-in clear and easy. The beds, the views, the space, and each bedroom having a bathroom: all amazing! Everything was also very neat and clean. May have to come back when it's warmer and enjoy more time on the rooftop, which has an incredible view of downtown! Thanks for the great stay!

This was a great spot for my family with teens for our college visits in Pittsburgh. Lots of room to spread out and a comfy family room when everyone wanted to be together. Great kitchen for eating in, but walking distance to several great restaurants, bars, and bakeries.

We loved the balcony, the rooftop patio, and the dedicated parking spaces! We found the bedrooms and bathrooms to be very comfortable and clean. Excellent accommodations! We needed a place to stay for an overnight visit to see family and this place was phenomenal. If we were staying longer it would have been perfect as well. I appreciated the nice touches like the sound machine in the bedroom since you are in a city. Lawrenceville has tons of nice restaurants and cafes too that you can walk to. We found a great place for breakfast (Mediterra?) about a 7 min walk away! Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment seemed brand new. Would definitely stay there again. My only complaint would be that the curtains do not cover the window so don’t plan on sleeping in lol

Beautiful, new, modern space with high ceilings, comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen, and a killer roof deck! We were two couples who each had our own very private bedrooms and baths, and the place was perfect for us to explore one of Pittsburgh's hottest neighborhoods. Walk to excellent breweries, great restaurants, clothing shops, and an outstanding bakery. Watch the woodchucks cavort in the huge cemetery across the street. Have an evening cocktail on the roof deck to admire the skyline and hills of Pittsburgh. Jake and his team were quick to communicate, and everything was super clean. Next time we're in Pittsburgh, this is where we'll stay!

Perfect place for our girls’ gathering and enjoying Lawrenceville. Highly suggest visiting Pusadee’s Garden as it’s walkable and for dessert must check out the Butterwood Bake Consortium.

My family and I are so glad we chose Jake's place for our stay in Pittsburgh. Everything seemed brand new, very clean, and we had tons of space. Amenities were spot on with coffee, tea, chargers for all electronics, and water and ice dispensers in the fridge. It was so nice having a glass of wine on the balcony at the end of the day. The area is super cute too with lots of shopping and restaurants (and very good ice cream).

We went to a coffee shop down the street, ate some great food, and went downtown which is just a couple miles away! Jake is WONDERFUL! Pittsburgh isn’t always the easiest to navigate lol, but he was so helpful, kind, quick to respond- gave pictures with directions and everything. His kindness and hospitality made the experience seamless and stress-free. I couldn’t say enough, we had a perfect stay!
