Jakes home is in a great location just a few minutes away from everything in a nice safe community in Pittsburgh. Jake is as well very helpful and quiet on the response. I highly recommend you stay here when looking for a stay in Pittsburgh.

It was an amazing house to live. We just stopped for one night and Jake was very proactive in responding to even at the late night hour. Very well maintained house.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 6 staying for the night in Pittsburgh. Very close to shops and restaurants, clean and cozy, and easy to access.

We loved our stay here. It was very clean and comfortable and so easy to get around town from this location. We walked to local restaurants and were able to get to all of our other destinations within a 10 minute drive. Jake was super responsive, polite, and an extremely helpful host. Such a great find, would highly recommend and stay there again ourselves if we get the chance to go back.

Jake’s place was perfect for our friends trip. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were extremely comfy! The entire place was clean and spotless. It was a quiet neighborhood and safe area. It was also very walkable to different attractions in Shadyside. Definitely a good place!!

This was my first stay in Jake’s unit and I was very impressed. Everything was as described in photos and all very new. It was extremely clean. Even though it took about 30 minutes longer than the listed time to check in, Jake remained communicative throughout, and once we entered the unit, the wait felt completely worth it. You really don’t find many places with high-quality interiors and such a quiet night. We slept very well, which made our Pittsburgh visit a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

First of all the place was spotless. Location is great. We ended up eating both dinners on our trip less than a block away. Jake is super friendly and helpful as well as responsive. Nice Space. Comfortable Beds. It was a little louder than expected and noisy… as I could hear everything from the walking and whatever was going on upstairs to the loud music thudding down stairs. It being NYE could’ve contributed to it being loud like parties going on. Other than that Decent Stay.

Jake was very responsive throughout our stay. The three-bedroom condo was immaculate, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Everything was comfortable and made for a great stay. We would definitely return.

This was our second time staying in this exact same unit. Jake's place was well maintained. The beds were big and comfy. The apartment is in walking distance to many great restaurants and an ice cream shop. There is a designated parking spot behind the building. This a perfect place to stay when you're in the Burgh.

The unit we stayed in was terrific. Feels brand new. Spotless, modern fixtures, well equipped, comfy beds. Great location. Easy check in. Really appreciated the washer/dryer. Jake is extremely responsive. Got back to me in like 10 mins when I emailed a couple times. Someone parked in our spot fairly late one evening and Jake was on it asap! Will definitely look to stay here or in one of Jake’s properties the next time I am in Pgh.

Easy to get to. Jake’s instructions were easy to understand. His place was just as described and as portrayed by the photos. Cleanliness was top notch. My family and I felt safe and comfortable and we loved all the amenities. Felt like home! Beds were clean and luxuriously comfortable. We loved that two of the rooms were equipped with a TV which allowed for our family to feel like we had our private space while enjoying Jake’s place together. Loved the area. Family friendly. We look forward to staying here again.

What a great find in Shady Side. The unit was very clean and spacious. I felt very safe and the building was well secured. It’s in a great location and you can walk to many great restaurants and shops. The beds were very comfortable with high end linens. The kitchen had all of the basics. The 2 patios were great to sit outside and enjoy the community. The only downside is that the unit doesn’t seem to be well insulated and you can hear the tenants above. Will definitely rent again when I’m back in Pittsburgh!

The apartment was excellent for my family and two kids. Having the pack n play was especially helpful for our toddler. The apartment was spacious, comfortable and clean. It is also located in a great area and walkable to a lot of restaurants and nearby/driveable to the things we wanted to do. Having a reserved parking spot was an extra bonus! We came in late on a Wednesday night and getting into the apartment was so easy and the instructions were very helpful. Lastly, Jake was very friendly and responsive to our questions. The next time we are in town, we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

The place was as photographed. Lots of bedrooms. Smaller living area. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well done. The building is brand new and the scent especially in hallways is of new materials. If you’re sensitive to smells you may want to stay elsewhere. Also the floors are very creaky above the apartment and there was (uncontrollable) street noise especially on Saturday night.

Great place

Jake's place matched the description and pictures. It was like staying in an upscale hotel but with a kitchen and living room. The beds were comfortable and relaxing. There were tvs in two of the bedrooms which gave my kids and I are own private getaways. The AC was powerful and the washer and dryer were convenient. Jake's place had enough TP, linens and even laudry detergent, bleach tablets and dryer sheets. There was even a designated parking spot behind the building on a parking pad. We typically stay in a house when we stay in Pittsburgh, but now we only book Jake's place.

This home was convenient and clean. We will stay again if in the area.

Jake & his team have done it again! 316 S Highland Ave is a phenomenal rental! Great location, new, clean, easy to access. The off street parking space was super helpful with the back door entrance easy to take luggage up to the room. I’d highly recommend this location for anyone visiting Pittsburgh. Cheers.

Great location! It exceeded our expectations. Walkable to some great eateries. Very clean! Comfortable beds! It was perfect place for our family to gather while in town for a family reunion. It was so nice that we would like to keep it a secret for our next stay in town. We greatly appreciated the one parking space that was part of the unit. For our second vehicle, parking on street was very safe. Jake took care of registering our vehicles to make it totally hassle free. Jake was exceptional at fast, friendly communication. He was able to get us an additional night in the same building at a very good rate.

Jake was an INCREDIBLE host and helped make me and my family's trip to Pittsburgh very memorable! The initial property I booked was exactly how it was described and very clean and cozy. However, the dates we visited in Pittsburgh were historically hot so the AC in our unit stopped working (as did many in the area). I was initially worried but when I reached out to Jake he responded VERY quickly and actually upgraded us to an even nicer property free of charge! We were in the new place within 45 minutes of me reaching out to him which made me REALLY appreciate his professionalism. He really went above and beyond to make sure me and my family were well taken care of. On our drive home, me and my wife were already planning our next trip to Pittsburgh and searching through other properties that Jake owns. This was a 10/10 experience! Book through Jake...you won't regret it! Thank you for everything Jake!

This was my very first experience with an AirBnB and I was so impressed and grateful for our host and for our accomodations. Our family stayed at Jake's on the occasion of the loss of my beloved father, who was 99-1/2 and who had passed the day before. We were there to address the final arrangements, attend the funeral service Monday morning, and gather together before and after the beautiful graveside service ... to be with one another in the extended family, to mourn, to remember, to laugh, to cry, to hug, to share. It was a very emotional time, and we had our 2 yr old with us for his very first trip away from home. We could not have been more thrilled with the immaculate, modern, inviting, apartment that was peaceful and quiet yet only a block from the business district. We walked to the restaurants for family gatherings. We felt safe and comforted. The balconies were wonderful for our grandson! Thank you, Jake!
