The place was very clean and well maintained. It had everything we needed and was perfect for a family traveling together. We had a comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Very nice place. Lots of room and everything worked. We had our own designated parking space which was handy. The smoke alarms are very sensitive as we discovered while using the stove.

Very good location, apartment was very clean, bed and linens were one of the best! Parking spot once we found it was good to have. Just be aware that it’s 4 flights of stairs, if you have lots of luggage. Great place and would stay there again!

We had such a fun weekend staying in Jake’s Airbnb! We enjoyed up-to-date decor and everything was very comfortable. . It’s also in a fantastic location - we walked to a different coffee place each morning! I would highly recommend this place or his other apartments in the same building. (In fact, we will be back in 2 months for our daughter’s med school graduation!) Jake was also very responsive which made the stay even better! Thanks, Jake!

Great spot! Extremely walkable-seconds to great food and coffee, easy access to major roads to get into the downtown and surrounding areas. Apartment was very clean, beds are super comfortable and plenty of space for multiple people. Big bathrooms, kitchen perfect for dining in. Our dog was welcome and she loved the street facing deck! We’ll definitely be back-easy to communicate with Jake when needed.

Was the perfect Shadyside spot to spend the weekend! The apartment was spotless and exactly as described, and the host was beyond responsive when we had questions. The off street parking spot was very convenient and the check in an check out processes were seamless. Would definitely stay here again!

Hello, this apartment is in a nice building in a good location. But the maintenance issues and lack of proper assistance was a big distraction on the first night of our stay. The entry key pad did not work, and then we were advised to use the back door which means going down 4 flights and back up 4 flights. I knew you could enter the front or the rear of the building, but I did not realize they led to two separate doors. Unfortunately, the front door keypad was never fixed during our stay. Also, upon our arrival the one bedroom's smoke detector was chirping, someone came and removed the battery while we were out but did not replace the battery. We were instructed to change the battery ourselves! I asked several times for the mgmt. company to have Jake message me, but he never did so. I also want to note that this apartment smells like cigarette smoke. Not like someone smoked there recently, but it smelled like it was in the walls from someone smoking years ago.

Really enjoyed my stay! The place was spotless, very clean, and had such a warm, welcoming vibe.

Great place in a great location. The apartment was clean and the bathrooms/bedrooms were wonderful. Kitchen amenities were a little bit scarce, and this unit was on the 4th floor without an elevator so you do end up walking up 4-5 flights of stairs every time you come home (not an issue, just giving people a heads up)

Jake’s apartment is amazing. It’s located in a brand-new apartment building in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood in Pittsburgh, PA, just a few minutes’ drive from the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University. The apartment features two balconies with beautiful views of the city. The interior design made us feel like we were staying in our dream apartment. The space was spotless and fully equipped with all the essential appliances. Jake is a very friendly and responsive host. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Pittsburgh.

Place was perfect for access to shadyside restaurants and activities. Nice big rooms and Jake was very responsive. He also let us check out an hour later cause our flight was so late. Would stay here again!

Hola Jake siempre fue muy amable y explicó todo muy bien, está en buen lugar y muchas cosas por hacer cerca, tiene dos baños , ambos están afuera de la habitación pero muy cómodos, una habitación con terraza. Está en 4to piso sin ascensor, creo que lo bien que está el alojamiento vale la pena sino hay muchas maletas y personas mayores. Tienes opciones de aparcamiento cerca de la casa, nosotros aparcamos al frente. Espero volver con mi familia a este alojamiento, nos gustó mucho!

The apartment was exactly as pictured, clean (though the floors were a little dusty / seemed like they were just swept and not mopped), great location, all necessary amenities you could need for your stay. Jake was very responsive and provided detailed instructions for check-in and parking, which was very much appreciated, and the entire process was seamless.

This place was great and worth the fourth floor walk up. Jake was great, we had some issues with the electric locks, and he was quick to respond and help us. The beds were great, so were the linens and the towels. The main bathroom does have a slick floor when wet, so if you are prone to tripping house shoes are a good move. Kitchen was incredible to use, and the balconies were so lovely to enjoy the weather on! Would 1000% stay again at this one or another one of his properties.

This is the second time we’ve stayed in one of these units. It’s one of our favorite places to stay in Pittsburgh. Always so clean, has everything you could need and lots to do in a walkable distance.

Beautiful, large bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was had all new appliances. The balconies were great to hang out on. The location was within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. Parking was easy and we were provided with two options (1 street parking and 1 private spot a two min walk away). Would definitely book again.

We booked this stay for a quick overnight trip to Pittsburgh to attend a Carnegie Mellon campus tour with our high school senior, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute drive to CMU and Pitt, and only 15 minutes to downtown. We also loved being able to walk to nearby shops and restaurants, which made the evening feel relaxed and convenient. Inside, the space was immaculate and beautifully designed. Everything felt brand new—from the sleek appliances to the stylish furniture. The luxurious linens and thoughtful amenities added a touch of indulgence that made the short stay feel like a treat. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the universities or just looking for a comfortable, high-end place to stay in Pittsburgh. We’d absolutely book again!

Jake made this place very lovely and we have been quite enjoying our stay. Particularly, we can find things we need in the apt easily and get our questions answered by Jake very quickly. The location is convenient so it is not hard at all for us to find a place for meals and/or drinks. We recommend this place!

My wife and four of our children stayed here for two nights while our youngest child was at Children's Hospital. It was only 12 minutes away from the hospital with minimal traffic. Check-in was straight forward. The free parking space is down the alleyway and not too far of a walk. The steps to the fourth floor apartment were no joke. It was clear in the description and comments that there were a lot of steps so we packed accordingly to minimize trips to the car. The apartment is walking distance from multiple restaurants. There is a pizza shop just two doors down from the apartment building and the pizza was delicious. We found some long hair in the master shower but besides that the apartment seemed very clean. The two porches were really nice to sit on, the beds were comfortable, and overall the apartment was very nice. When we did have questions for Jake he was quick to respond. If we need to stay in the area again this building will be the first I check for availability.

I was always a little sceptical when it comes to selecting anything based on the reviews. If was the same with Jake's place, initially and I was worried how the place will be. But believe me, all the reviews are 100% real and honest. we never had any experience close to Jake's place. it was immaculate and pristine all over. And more than anything Jake is a wonderful human being. so kind and extremely fast in responding to your messages. only regret from our side was that we just stayed for a night but we actually wanted to spend more time at Jake's place. But if we ever come to visit Pittsburgh again it would be at the Jake's place for sure. thank you so much Jake!

Let me start by saying this place out did the pictures. The comfort made me feel right at home. Jake rental process made me feel safe and secure. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

Our AC went out during a heatwave, and we needed a cool, comfortable place to stay for the week while waiting for a new unit to be installed. This Airbnb was perfect. Parking was easy, and the location was great—within walking distance to several restaurants and a nice gym. The apartment itself was very comfortable and well-maintained. Check-in was the smoothest I’ve experienced with any Airbnb stay. Jacob, the host, was extremely responsive and helpful whenever we had a question or request. Highly recommend staying here—you’ll feel right at home!

Great location - Went to a sold out concert at Acrisure we left right at the end & we were able to get back to the apartment within 20-25 minutes. Definitely the best place we’ve stayed at in Pittsburgh! Super clean & was exactly what was advertised.

Jake was an excellent host. The top floor experience is secluded and well worth the stairs. His place was in pristine condition, in a fantastic location, and truly bigger than the pictures.
