This apartment is perfectly located just a few blocks from Walnut Street, which is a popular street in Shadyside with tons of bars, restaurants, high-end shopping and coffee shops. You can walk anywhere you'd like to during your stay. We can offer you free street parking and we're located on a very quiet street where you will have no issues finding a spot very close to the front of the home.
You will be able to enter the apartment either through the front of the home into the common area or through the private porch in the back. We have a smart lock on all entrances for a seamless entry without the need for keys at any point during your stay. My team and I also provide 24/7 guest communication through the airbnb platform, so we are always here for you during your stay!
The living room:
Enter through the back door and you will open yourselves up to a beautiful living room with high end furnishings and very tall ceilings. There is a 3 seater couch and an arm chair at the center of the living room with a 55" TCL Roku smart TV mounted in the center. Below the TV is a TV stand with a built in electric fire place for a cozy, relaxing experience and can also function as a space heater if you'd like. Just behind the sofa is a 4 seater dining table! Enjoy nice small touches throughout the home like our USB outlets built into the lamps to easily charge your devices while hanging out in the home.
The Kitchen:
Our kitchen is beautifully renovated with many high end final touches throughout. You will have everything you need to cook, dine and eat during your stay with us. We provide a full set of cooking utensils with pots, pans, cutting boards, knives set, and more for you during your stay. We also provide a full set of plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses and silverware so you can dine during your stay and conveniently use our dishwasher to wash all dishes while you're with us. All appliances are brand new and include a four burner gas stove, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Lastly, we also provide a blender, electric tea kettle, toaster and coffee maker with coffee/ sugar provided as well. There are four bar stools by the kitchen counter for additional seating too!
The bathroom:
There is one bathroom in the apartment that is fully stocked with all essentials and sparkling clean for you. Hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo/ conditioner, towels (Bath, hand, washcloths, and makeup towels) are provided and is topped off with a luxurious waterfall shower head with removable arm. Everything you need for your stay will be provided. The bathroom is located centrally just off the living room!
Bedroom 1:
The first bedroom in the apartment is just off the living room and is nicely furnished with a queen sized bed. The mattress is by Tuft & Needle which is very high end and super comfy. Just off to the right is a 3 drawer dresser and an arm chair for relaxing. At the food of the bed there is a closet with plenty of hangers and storage space for your belongings during your stay as well as a luggage rack for your convenience. Both of our bedrooms have several final touches to ensure a peaceful nights sleep for you, including a white noise machine, black out curtains, a ceiling fan, and USB outlets in the nightstand lamps to charge your devices at night.
Bedroom 2:
Our larger bedroom is tucked off in the front of the unit nearest the front porch and includes a king sized bed. The mattress in this room is from Puffy, which is an unbelievably comfy mattress that we guarantee you'll love! We have a large dresser off to the right of the bed for you and a writing desk off to the left of the bed for any business needs during your stay. At the foot of the bed we also have a 43" TCL Roku TV mounted for you to relax and unwind at night before bed. There is also a closet in this bedroom with plenty of space to hang your clothes and store your luggage, including a luggage rack for your convenience. Similar to the other bedroom, this bedroom has a white noise machine, black out curtains and a ceiling fan to ensure a comfortable sleep.
Back porch:
We have a very cozy back porch that is private and quiet for you to enjoy during your stay. There is a comfy sofa on the porch for you to enjoy and you can easily access it off the back of the living room. There is a smart lock on this door too so you can easily enter and exit through this door without the need for any keys during your stay.
Front porch:
We also have a nice front porch with a patio sofa here as well that you're welcome to use! This is shared with the other two apartments in the building.

Washer/ dryer:
We have a free washer and dryer we can offer you during your stay as well! It is private to you but it is located in the basement of the building. Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided for you.
Pet friendly:
All pets are welcome! Please make sure to indicate you are bringing a pet when booking, our pet fee is $30 per pet!
$0 Cleaning Fee:
We proudly offer our guests a $0 cleaning fee! We do this to reward our courteous guests who leave the apartment in good shape on their way out and are happy to clean up after you to prepare for our next guests. All that we ask is that you leave the apartment in similar condition as to how you found it and we will take care of the rest. We do have to charge a cleaning fee if we find the space to be in an unreasonable mess at check out (Trash everywhere, furniture moved around, etc), but this is rare and as long as you respect our space this will not be an issue!
Steps:
There are some steps required to get into the apartment. If you are entering through the front of the home and through the common area, there will be 15 steps from the sidewalk that you will have to climb to enter the front door. If you enter through the driveway and around in through the back of the building, there are only 4 steps for you to climb to enter the apartment.

Guests will have access to entire 2 bedroom apartment, back porch, front porch and basement area with washer/ dryer. The only parts that are shared are the front porch and the basement area, but the rest of the spaces are private and not shared.
I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. I am only a phone call or message away 24/7. You will be able to self check-in using the electronic key lock upon arrival.
You can't beat the location of this Shadyside apartment. It is conveniently located near all Universities (Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburgh, Carlow, Chatham, and Duquesne). Plenty of boutiques, restaurants, parks, museums, high-end shopping and coffee shops are within walking distance. Some of the primary spots include Lululemon, Athleta, Apple Store, Banana Republic, Starbucks, Pamelas Diner, Brueggers bagels Shady Grove, The Yard, and Marios East Side Saloon. Bus stops are close by to take you to the Heinz Field, PNC park, or Rivers Casino. Southside, downtown, Lawrenceville, Squirrel Hill and Bloomfield are all a short 10-15 minute Uber away.
The airport is roughly 30 minutes from the apartment, by car and without traffic. The cost to uber is usually about a $38 each way, without surge pricing.
I highly recommend using ride-sharing services, like Uber or Lyft as you are in a hot part of town and will never have to wait more than 10 minutes for a ride.

- There is a small parking pad shared by the other tenants in the apartment building that you are welcome to use if there is an open spot for you. Street parking is also available, but you will need to request a parking pass in advance. I have one guest pass that I can offer for free. You will need to reach out in advance and provide the license plate number and make/ model of vehicle so I can register the parking pass for up to 3 consecutive days. Parking is FREE on Sundays, and also free from 6PM - 11AM daily (Noon on Saturdays). Between 11AM and 6PM, you are able to park for free for up to 2 hours at a time. There are heavy fees for going over but if you are bouncing around during the day, you will likely be fine without a pass. I am happy to provide one if needed! Biking:
- Rent bikes for as cheap as $2 per 30 minutes at any Healthy E-Ride bike station around town! There is an easy bike path to get you downtown in less than 30 minutes and you can get to several nearby parks by bike as well. Great way to explore the city!
Public transport:
Great walking routes along the 5th Avenue, ‘University corridor' to Chatham University, CMU and PITT.
Easy bus lines to the heart of Downtown and the Airport - 28X Airport Flyer stops nearby.

Our kitchen is beautifully finished with high ceilings and is fully stocked and equipped for all cooking/ dining needs.
Our 2nd bedroom is equipped with a cozy queen bed that is also a high end memory foam mattress by Tuft & Needle.
Our sparkling clean bathroom is freshly renovated in line with the rest of our beautiful space with a double vanity, wonderfully designed bathroom with tiled shower and topped off with a luxurious waterfall showerhead.

Our living room is beautifully furnished with our 3 seater sofa centered around our 55" TCL Roku Smart TV. This is a perfect place for bonding and relaxing and you'll enjoy our comfy furnishings of the space!
Enjoy our electric fireplace that also serves as a space heater if desired. Our 55" TCL Roku smart TV comes with an antenna to get all local channels and you can simply log into your favorite subscriptions for any other channels you desire.
Our 4 seater dining table is centered just behind the couch and off the kitchen as an extra place for seating during your stay.
Our sofa in the living room does pull out into a full sized bed! We offer all linens and two extra pillows for the pull out sofa.

In the corner of the bedroom we also have a small writing desk for any business needs during your stay with us.
