The first floor offers two entrances, one from the front and one from the back, both equipped with smart locks for safety and convenience. Inside, you'll find the first bedroom conveniently located next to the stairs leading to the upper floors. Bedroom 1 - First Floor: In the first bedroom on the main floor, you'll find a queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress, ensuring an amazing and relaxing experience. The room also features a 43" smart TV for your entertainment as you unwind. For storage, there are closets and a dresser to help organize your belongings during your stay. Other things to note! ~ Important to know before booking: Both showers are located inside the two king bedrooms on the third floor. Guests staying on the top floor or the first floor will share these showers with the occupants of the third-floor bedrooms. There is a half bath on the second floor that is not shared in any of the bedrooms. ~ The home is pet friendly with a $30 pet fee per pet/per stay, maximum of two pets allowed per stay. Please make sure to keep any dogs on a leash while in the backyard though because it is not a fenced in yard. ~ An air mattress (queen), a futon (twin) a rollaway bed (Twin) and a Pack n play crib is available for extra sleeping arrangements. ~ For added entertainment, you'll find an Air Hockey Table and Corn Hole Set in the garage. Additionally, there are board games located in the living area for more indoor fun. ~ There are security cameras in the front and rear of the home for added safety and security for our guests. These are exterior only though and there are no cameras or recording devices inside of the home. ~ If you need more parking, you may register them for street parking which is also free and you'll need to follow the instructions for doing so sent in the check in instructions. ~ Tesla electric vehicle charging station located in the Giant Eagle Market District parking garage, steps away from the home. ~ Absolutely no parties or events at this listing.

September 2025 5.00Jake's place was an excellent find in pittsburgh. It's nicely tucked away on a side street, most of shadyside is a short walk away and easy access to the North Oakland neighborhood as well. Included parking is a major boon in Pittsburgh too.

August 2025 5.00The place was located ideally in Shadyside. It was an easy walk to Carnegie Mellon University or Pittsburgh University Walnut Street was like a five minute walk from the house and had a lot of restaurant options.

August 2025 5.00We really enjoyed our stay at Jake's house and will be coming back. Jake was a great host ... always responding quickly and managing any requests we had. The house was as very comfortable for our family and convenient (<10min drive) to any place we wanted to go.

August 2025 5.00Jake's place was the perfect location for our needs during Pittsburgh. We needed to be near the U of Pitt campus and it was within a 2 mile walking distance so we didn't need to drive and worry about parking at times. The house is also located next to a large grocery store which made it very convenient to get our groceries for the week as well as last minute items without having to drive. There are very tall trees that separate the house from the parking lot so privacy was never an issue. The house was clean and beautiful. Jake was a great host and always responded to my questions/concerns within 1-2 hours. We would definitely book Jake's house again if we were to return to Pittsburgh. Thanks for a great stay Jake!
