This apartment is ideally situated just a few blocks from Walnut Street, a vibrant hub in Shadyside known for its bars, restaurants, high-end shopping, and coffee shops. You'll find everything you need within walking distance. Enjoy free street parking on our quiet street, with plenty of spots available right in front of the home. You can access the apartment either through the front entrance into the common area and up one flight of stairs, or via the private porch at the back, also requiring one flight of stairs. It is worth noting that this is a 2nd floor apartment. All entrances are equipped with smart locks, ensuring a seamless, keyless entry throughout your stay. My team and I offer 24/7 guest communication through the Airbnb platform, so we are always available to assist you during your visit. Living Room and Dining Area: Our inviting living room is designed for comfort and relaxation. Sink into the plush 3-seater sofa, which effortlessly transforms into a sleeper sofa for extra guests. Enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the large Smart TV right in front of you. For a cozy reading nook, there's a comfy chair that's perfect for curling up with a good book or simply unwinding. Just behind the sofa, you'll find a charming dining area with a 4-seater table, ideal for family meals, intimate dinners, or a quiet morning coffee. This space seamlessly blends relaxation and dining, creating the perfect atmosphere for your stay. Kitchen: Next to the living area, the kitchen is perfect for creating memorable meals for family and friends. It features a cozy 3-chair nook and is fully equipped with new stainless steel appliances, including a four-burner stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. There’s ample cabinet and drawer space, along with cooking basics like pots, pans, oil, salt, and pepper, as well as dishes, silverware, and an electric kettle. This kitchen has everything you need for both gourmet feasts and simple snacks. Bathroom 1: The first bathroom, conveniently located near the living area, is fully equipped with all your essentials for a comfortable stay, including body soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. You'll also find a hair dryer for your convenience. Enjoy the luxurious showerhead and the inviting bathtub for a relaxing experience. Bedroom 1: Located just off the living room, the first bedroom offers a luxurious retreat. Sink into the king-sized bed with a high-end memory foam mattress for a restful night's sleep. A smart TV provides entertainment, while the private bathroom ensures convenience. The room is equipped with a standing mirror, dresser, and closet for ample storage space, making it perfect for both short and extended stays. To enhance comfort, a ceiling fan ensures a cool and refreshing atmosphere in the room. Bathroom 2: Inside the first bedroom, this private bathroom ensures your comfort with the same essential amenities like body soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. Relax under the luxurious showerhead or unwind in the inviting bathtub, offering a rejuvenating experience during your stay. Bedroom 2: The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed with a high-end memory foam mattress, offering a cozy and restful retreat. Ample storage space is provided with a dresser and closet, ensuring convenience for longer stays. For added comfort, there's a ceiling fan to keep the room cool and breezy. Additionally, the room includes an electronic height-adjustable standing desk, perfect for work or leisure activities. Back Porch: We offer a tranquil and private back porch, perfect for relaxation during your stay. Accessible from the living room, it features a comfortable sofa for your enjoyment. The smart lock on this door ensures convenient entry and exit without the hassle of keys throughout your stay. Front Porch: We also have a nice front porch with a patio sofa here as well that you're welcome to use! This is shared with the other two apartments in the building. Other things to note: Washer/ dryer: We have a free washer and dryer inside the apartment that we can offer you during your stay as well! Laundry detergent and dryer sheets are provided for you. Pet friendly: All pets are welcome! Please make sure to indicate you are bringing a pet when booking, our pet fee is $30 per pet! ** We do require vaccination records sent in prior to your check in for any pets you bring. $0 Cleaning Fee: We proudly offer our guests a $0 cleaning fee! We do this to reward our courteous guests who leave the apartment in good shape on their way out and are happy to clean up after you to prepare for our next guests. All that we ask is that you leave the apartment in similar condition as to how you found it and we will take care of the rest. We do have to charge a cleaning fee if we find the space to be in an unreasonable mess at check out (Trash everywhere, furniture moved around, etc), but this is rare and as long as you respect our space this will not be an issue! Steps: Accessing the apartment involves navigating stairs since it's located on the 2nd floor of the apartment building. From the front entrance via the common area, you'll encounter 15 steps from the sidewalk to reach the front door. Once inside, another flight of 17 steps leads to the second floor where the apartment is situated. Alternatively, entering through the driveway and around the back of the building requires climbing stairs to access the second floor via the private back entrance. January 2026 5.00As devout Pittsburgh Steelers fans coming from Indiana, this was a fraction of the cost to stay at a hotel. Our check in-&-out was eazy-peazy. The accommodations were much more than we would have experienced downtown. I will definitely book again ahead of time with Jake, to be assured vacancy for many future visits to Pittsburgh.
